HOW DEVICTO WORKS

Everything on this page is the game as built. Where a number appears, it is read out of the same table the game runs on.

THE RUN

Twenty waves. Between each one there is a muster of seconds to site and raise engines. You can sound the wave early with space, and every second left on the clock pays four aes — the column does not get harder for arriving sooner, so waiting out the clock is a straight loss.

You start with aes and ranks behind the standard. Anything that reaches the aquila cuts one rank down and dies doing it. At zero, the eagle is carried off the field.

THE GROUND

Engines go on prepared pads, not anywhere off the road. The road is longer than those pads can cover, and you will never have the aes to fill them all with anything good. That scarcity is the game — everything else is consequence.

Corners beat straights for everything except the SCORPIO: a body walking a bend stays inside your arc roughly twice as long as one crossing it. Overlap beats coverage — two arcs on one corner outperform two corners covered once, because most things that kill you die to concentration, not to breadth.

THE ENGINES

Each can be raised twice. A raise costs 80% of base cost times the current level, and gives half again the damage, a tenth more reach, and a faster cycle. Striking one returns 55% of everything you put into it.

THE HORDE

Health scales 22% per wave. Bosses arrive on every fifth. Nothing else about a foe changes — a testudo on wave eighteen is the same problem it was on wave six, with more health.

THE WAVES

The table below is generated from the same function the game calls, so it cannot drift out of date with what actually walks the road.

WAVEBODIESPAYCOLUMN

THE LEGATE

An AI that reads the board you built against the column that is coming. It briefs before each wave, debriefs after each run, and answers questions on its own page.

It has one hard rule: it does not call markets. Not $VICTO, not anything. It will refuse in character and turn the question back to ground. That rule holds when the model is up and when it is not — with no API reachable, the site falls back to reading your board locally, in the same voice, with the same refusal. The fallback is not a stub; it inspects your engine mix against the next wave and tells you what is actually wrong with it.

THE ROLL

One row per tag — a tag's best run. The game runs entirely in your browser, so the roll is a record of who showed up, not a proof of anything. Runs are signed with a token taken at the start and bounds-checked against what the wave table makes possible, which keeps curl-ed nonsense off it. It does not make the board cheat-proof and nothing client-side ever will.

$VICTO

Fair launch on pump.fun, 7 August 2026, 16:00 UTC. No presale, no team allocation, no private round, no unlock schedule.

Nothing in the game is gated behind it. No hold-to-play, no pay-to-win engine, no wallet connect on the board. If the token went to zero tomorrow, DEVICTO would play exactly the same, because the game does not read the chain at any point.

It is not a claim on revenue, it is not equity, and it is not an investment. It is a bag of rocks for people who like the same joke. Buy it or do not; either way the ridge is free.
